Abstract

This study investigates the impact of various resource allocations and administrative frameworks on health outcomes in primary health care centers in Anambra State, Nigeria. A sample of 309 respondents provided data, analyzed using regression analysis, to assess the influence of financial resources, human resources, material resources, governance structures, and policy frameworks on health outcomes. The findings reveal that material resources allocation (β = 0.30, p < 0.01) has the most significant positive effects on health outcomes. Financial resources (β = 0.20, p < 0.05) and human resources (β = 0.18, p < 0.05) also significantly contribute to health outcomes, albeit to a lesser extent. These results highlight the critical role of adequate medical equipment, supplies, and robust policy frameworks in enhancing healthcare delivery. The study suggests prioritizing investments in material resources and strengthening policy frameworks to improve health outcomes, with a comprehensive strategy that also includes financial and human resource enhancements. These findings provide valuable insights for policymakers and healthcare administrators aiming to optimize resource allocation and improve the quality of healthcare services among others
