Abstract

The design and construction of the table saw was carried out using a 12-24v DC motor and other locally sourced materials. The design featured a portable surface for cutting and mini storage space for other small working tools. The saw was tested to effectively cut medium-sized workshop wood and light iron sheets and was constructed with a total sum of Sixty Thousand Naira (₦60,000.00) which is way cheaper than its imported version. Further modification with adjustable blade feature was recommended for subsequent projects.
