Abstract

This study explores the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance decision-making processes and create value in Nigeria. The research examines the current landscape of AI adoption, its applications in various aspects of business operations, and the opportunities it presents for value creation. The study highlights how AI can be leveraged for data analysis, predictive modelling, supply chain optimization, customer insights, and risk assessment, among other areas. It also discusses the critical success factors for AI implementation and the ethical considerations that must be addressed. The findings suggest that AI has the potential to significantly improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive innovation in companies within Nigeria. However, the successful adoption of AI requires careful consideration of ethical frameworks, data governance, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous monitoring. The study concludes by offering recommendations for responsible AI implementation and emphasizing the need for ongoing research and development in this rapidly evolving field.
